On February 23rd, Li Jun, the founder and CEO of GoGoByte, was invited to the large integrated media program “Vice-Center Parlor” to discuss how the self-developed products contribute to the innovative development of the cyber security industry. During the interview, Li Jun also introduced the importance of vehicle cyber security and its impact on daily life, raising the publican’s cyber security awareness from the social level in the process of vehicle selection and use.
During the interview, Li Jun combined with life cases to sort out the basic concept, development status and future trends of vehicles cyber security, and when mentioning the topic of risks, Li Jun especially pointed out: “With the increasing trend towards automated driving, the intelligent in-car connected control system is gradually replacing the driver as the true controller of the vehicle. However, when hackers remotely invade the smart car’s system to gain benefits and arbitrarily brake and steer, it is likely to endanger the safety of the occupants. On the other hand, the vehicle is equipped with more sensors, radar, cameras and other equipment, these devices will continue to collect driving data, but also by linking with other Internet of Things devices such as cell phones to obtain more privacy data, the protection of these privacy data from leakage and malicious use is also a matter of concern. At the same time, human society is constantly developing towards the trend of intelligence and electrification, and once a war breaks out, a remote attack on the transportation system, resulting in large-scale traffic paralysis and data privacy leakage, will greatly threaten national security.”
GoGoByte has been working to solve the growing security problems associated with cyber security by providing security services and products, such as ThreatTrace and DefenseWeaver, to automotive industry enterprises from design to operation phases. The company has reached cooperation with global organizations and enterprises, including CAERI, ASRG,etc. to conduct research on vehicle cyber security and promote the threat classification, security technology standards, and other projects within the Chinese automotive industry.
Li Jun stated that GoGoByte will not only solve the security problems in the field of vehicle cyber security, but also in other industries and fields in the future, such as medical equipment and industrial control systems in the IoT era. Guarding the technological innovation in the era of Internet of Everything and escorting the security development of the automotive industry is our mission. If there is no security, then behind all technological innovation will be a greater hidden danger.” With the development strategy of Beijing’s urban sub-center, GoGoByte will strengthen communication with relevant departments, continuously develop and introduce more high-level cyber security products, drive the level of regional technology development, and contribute to the high-quality development of the sub-center’s industry.
