The recent CCTV documentary “Digital Intelligent Era”(《数智纪》) tells the stories of the innovation happening in future-changing technologies such as AI, Edge&Could Computing, IoT, Bigdata. etc. One of the episodes,“Drive”（《御》）, shows the transformation and development of intelligent transportation and connected vehicles in China. Dedicated to securing innovation happening in the automotive industry, GoGoByte team is featured in “Drive”.
With the transformation of automotive electronic and electrical architecture, the complexity of software and hardware has increased dramatically couple with the application of V2X, autonomous-driving technologies, connected vehicles are exposed to even more attack vectors. Newly issued regulations, standards and past unpatchable vulnerabilities remind us that we must adopt secure-by-design strategy and consider security from concept to decommission phase.
